A fun day at Octoberfest

Today was a lovely overcast mild day for our Neighborhood park Octoberfest, and I got to tell some of my favorite stories.


"The Round Red House", is definitely one of my favorites with a great surprise ending.


and inside the round red house was the star!

"hello...This is ze Viper..."

I think the parents enjoyed the stories as much as the kids.

Story Time at the Woodside Library

Through August 16th at the Woodside Library Here are some photos from the first Storytime I did for K-1st graders a few weeks ago. follow the books

Tonight while looking for free or cheap books online to distribute for the project, I came across this site: www.bookcrossing.com where you can actually put a code on your book before letting it free, track it to see where it goes, and who reads it. This will only work if the finders log onto the Book Crossing website and input the required info.  Hey it's worth a shot to see where the books end up! I love this idea as it turns the world into a public library.
